20th Dec, I presented with Gorka Álvarez Aranburu findings on the e-#Diaspora Platform #HanHemen (www.hanhemen.eus) #ActionResearch project as its scientific director since April 2021 including US-UK Fulbright Commission award #fieldwork in #California by connecting with West-Basque-American diaspora communities. Two main findings were presented to the broad global diasporic community:

First, after two years and a half the diaspora management understanding even in the online platform has been dramatically shifted. Thank to the ArtemanGorka Etxabe and EuroHelp, I directed an online survey research process by gathering 419 responses out of the N=1385, by achieving more than 30% of response rate. Confirming the main hypothesis of this #research, two main insights could be revealed:

1. 84% of responses expressed high concerns of their #data #privacy

2. 62% of responses embraced as emerging digital citizenship trend the so-called #digital #nomadism

These findings have been recently published in the top journal Globalizations (Taylor & Francis Group; #ImpactFactor 2.5; #CiteScore 4.7) through the following article in #OpenAccess entitled:

Second, as a result of this article, another article was also published in parallel by examining how emerging and disruptive technologies related to #ArtificialIntelligence #AI could affect #diaspora management and platforms including: #Blockchain, #DAOs, #DataCooperatives, #Metaverse, and #ChatGPT

These findings have been recently published as well in the top journal #Futures (Elsevier; #ImpactFactor 3.0; #CiteScore 6.4) through the following article in #OpenAccess entitled:
