In 2005, Igor Calzada directed his first Summer School in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country. It was sponsored by Caja Laboral, AZK Taldea and Garaia. The Summer School consisted of 3 parts:
- Prospective and Strategic Foresight
- Creativity and Innovation
- Territory.
As a complementary part of the Summer School, an Essay Competition was organized with a high level of diverse content.
