27 Jul Prof Igor Calzada Appointed as Spain’s Management Committee Member for European COST Action on Multilingualism, Social Transformation & Generative AI

Prof. Igor Calzada has been officially appointed by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) as a Management Committee (MC) Member representing Spain in the newly launched COST Action under the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) programme.

This pan-European research network focuses on multilingualism, social transformation, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), addressing critical issues such as digital inclusion, territorial cohesion, cultural superdiversity, and the societal impact of emerging technologies.

This recognition highlights Prof. Calzada’s expertise and reinforces the positioning of the AI4SI (Artificial Intelligence for Social Innovation) programme within European research debates on digital governance and social innovation.
