28 Jun Keynote speaker in the Workshop in Brasilia (Brazil) on Environmental Governance for Sustainable Urban Transformation funded by Newton Fund & the British Council. 4-8th July 2016

Dr Calzada will travel with other British academics to Brazil, to meet and work together in order to build overall research capacity. At the beginning of the five-day workshop, he will present the policy report recently published and commissioned by the Future Cities Catapult entitled ‘Smartness for Prosperity: UK and Brazil’. In addition to the permanent workshop activities, the event will combine fieldwork research in Brazil too. This research activity is organised by the University of Cardiff funded by the British Council and the Newton Fund.
